Hello
I would like to introduce myself my  name is Ian Slater and I am publicity officer  for the Ambassadors of Borrowash Showband. I would like to thank you for visiting our site and taking the time to read the information here.

We pride ourselves in the work we do in and around the Spondon and Borrowash area by offering people of all ages the opportunity of an educational, as well as enjoyable interest. Each member is taught to march to exceptionally high standards as well as learn to play a brass, woodwind or percussion instrument to a high level of musicianship by competent teachers who, in return, only ask for the commitment and self-discipline required to learn.

We are a self-financing organisation. We travel the country through out the year visiting many locations to entertain the public at different events. We are looking for people / companies that could help us ,no matter how small or big the contribution. As you can guess the cost of transporting the band, the cost of musical instruments, uniforms, cases is very high and we are trying to raise the money for these and other events that happen throughout the year

Generosity will be greatly appreciated and recognised in our promotional material and activities or any way in which is agreed between the band and the person / company that help .
